Kristina Rapacki is a writer and editor based in London. She is assistant editor at The Architectural Review, and accepts freelance writing commissions on a range of topics relating to art, design and architectural history.
Prior to the AR, she worked at the Architectural Association (AA), where she was technical editor of AA Files and assisted on the production of the AA’s external publications. Kristina was deputy editor of Disegno from 2016 to 2021.
In 2018, Kristina completed her PhD from the Courtauld Institute of Art, and from 2014 to 2015 she was a Helena Rubinstein Fellow in Critical Studies at the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York. Her writing has appeared in The Architectural Review, Art History, Crafts, Disegno, The Journal of Modern Craft, and Third Text among other publications.
Kristina is also a member of the experimental choral collective Musarc, and occasionally sets crosswords.
