Kristina Rapacki is a writer and editor based in London. She is senior editor at The Architectural Review, where she has commissioned award-winning stories since 2022. She also accepts writing commissions on a range of topics relating to design and architectural history.
Prior to the AR, she worked at the Architectural Association (AA), where she was technical editor of AA Files and assisted on the production of the AA’s external publications. Kristina was deputy editor of Disegno from 2016 to 2021.
In 2018, Kristina completed her PhD from the Courtauld Institute of Art, and from 2014 to 2015 she was a Helena Rubinstein Fellow in Critical Studies at the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York. Her writing has appeared in The Architectural Review, Art History, Crafts, Disegno, Dirty Furniture, and Third Text among other publications.
In her spare time, Kristina is a keen rock climber, and occasionally sets crosswords.
